Do you often ask your children what they do in school each day??? Well this blog will give pupils the chance to write about what they have been doing in Year 3 with Mr Jones. You can also look back at the work Year 3/4s did from 2011/2012/2013 as all blogs will remain. Forces
This week we have been looking at different forces. What forces do you know about? Can you explain how different forces make things work? Watch the video to help you.
Remember to use capital letters and full stops correctly.
Mr jones i really like the foruce video it is really intresting i liked it when he showed us the free body diagram and when he stood on the spring toy.
Like the a boat the upthrust is keeping the boat afloat but the gravity is keeping it on the water also because they are even.The gravity is 100so is upthrust
There are loads of forces like uphrust that will keep a boat on the sea instead of it sinking, gravity pushes you down so you dont fly and hurt yourself.
Gravity is very important if we did not have gravity we would all float away! The force that keeps planes in the air is called air resistans the force that keeps boats on the water is called upthurst. Forces are very important you need forces to keep up on earth. Also the forces are upthust air resistants and gravity now you know how important forces are.
Gravitey pulls you down and upthrust only workes in water. if you stand on a spring it's like the groand. The groand is pushes you up and balances you from falling.
One of the most inportemt force's in gravity that keep's you on the ground but in space there is no gravity. Another force is Upthurst that in water that keep's boats in the water so they don't sink. Also friction is a force tha help's you when you are skatebording because it help's you to stay on the skatebord. A diffrent force is air resistnace which helps you stay up in the air longer but gravity is a stronger force.
