Do you often ask your children what they do in school each day??? Well this blog will give pupils the chance to write about what they have been doing in Year 3 with Mr Jones. You can also look back at the work Year 3/4s did from 2011/2012/2013 as all blogs will remain. The aim of the blog is share what we have been learning with others, it is a great way to see what we have been getting up to in Year 3. I hope you enjoy it!

This week we have been learing words we clunk on. Today miss dennis and mr williams came in your class. we all went on the i pads and drawed pichtures . We have to write out discribring words and the class have to gues the charter they have drawed.
This week we have been learning about Activating our prior knowlege,self-monitoring, visuailsation and mr Jones read 2 pages of a story called the great Kapok tree and then we had a big peace of paper and we had to write down what we all ready know.
This week we have been leaning about the Grat kapok tree and our hedteach and Mis denis kame in today. Then we had shets and on the shets there was a scan and on the ipad we hat to make a funny picher of a animl and ours was funny animl. Then on our shets we had to drow a paicher and my was good.
This week we have been learning about the story called the great Kapok tree.At first we looked at the front cover and activated our prior knoledge. Then we were questioning about the book. After that we read some of the book.I think it will be a very good good book!!!
Today we done activaiting prior knowedge.In mrs john's class because mr jones went swiming with year4.When we were with mrs john we had 3 groups 1 group was on the computers another group were out side play a game with miss elfic and miss nickles.Another group played a true and false game with mrs john then we swopt around

In Constable class we have been:
In Maths we have been solving word problems (says Ellie) In Literacy we did Freeze Frames of our story! (says Ezra) In ICT we went on Pivot stick figure (says Nadine) In Science we watered our plants with a variety of liquids and observed the changes (Christian and Tiegan!)
Mrs dennis is the year 1/2 teacher, mine and luca's animals was a head of a monkey, back legs of a tiger, front legs of a bird and he had a frogs leg as his tail hahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!
I am going to speak on behalf of my year 1 class at Wellington College International. Our week has been like this: Monday morning - general news and sharing time. EAL then go off for thier lesson. The rest of the class have been writing a recount of thier time at the summer fayre last weekend. EAL return then I introduced out ICT lesson linked to literacy, which was writing an interactive story on Kerpoof, a wonderful website check it out. The rest of the day we are at specialist lessons (Mandarin, music and P.E). Mr. T is either in meetings or busy marking books! The last part of the day is devoted to numeracy and our focus is investigating money. Day done! Tuesday - was pretty much devoted to ICT with more hands on numeracy in the morning.The day rounded off with singing practice. Wednesday is Mr. T's favourite day as it art one of his passions. Today we were finishing off our story maps whilst Mr. T took pictures of our clay stick man figures so that we can add our voices using sound cloud. Day done! Thursday - was our first sport day at Wellington so we were very excited. The day wet very well and we had an amazing time. To round off the day we had an ice cream yum! Mr. T will add the pictures soon. Friday - is always test day. yep Mr. T gives us a spelling test and mental maths test. This week was block test 40 questions. As the seniors were having thier sports day Mr. T let us have choosing time. To end the day he gave us doughnuts as a treat (his belated) birthday gift. Short week next week as we have a two day public holiday. Then its three and half weeks till the end of term. Dosen't time fly when your having so much fun!
