Do you often ask your children what they do in school each day??? Well this blog will give pupils the chance to write about what they have been doing in Year 3 with Mr Jones. You can also look back at the work Year 3/4s did from 2011/2012/2013 as all blogs will remain. The aim of the blog is share what we have been learning with others, it is a great way to see what we have been getting up to in Year 3. I hope you enjoy it!
What have you been learning this week? We aren't in school Thursday or Friday this week so feel free to blog what you did on your days off. Remember to use correct puncuation.
Today we have been typing are story for are newsround we are doing with are friends in America. Yesterday we did a dance for the NSPCC it was by the black eyed peas. in maths we have been learning about shapes like a cylinder and how many faces its got. We also were learning fractions like 1/4.
Today we lernt the importants of plants. We found 6 leaves and stuck them on a sheet.On another sheet we wrote what we know about plants and what we want to know.
Today we were doing P.E with Mr Humphries. We were doing the long jump because are topic is athetics. I came 2nd I was 2mm behind mahmoud,so close!!! He hurt himself though :(. In sicence we were learning about plants. We were also writing what we know and what we want to find out.
Today on saturday i brought a new pokemon pack pokemon destiny rivals yay. and today i learned about farenheit and celcios i stil dont get it XP. today learning was fun.
Constable class are looking at plants... We showed Mrs Darling how much we knew and she challenged us to think of an experiment to find out something we didn't know! We decided to change the kind of liquid we fed our plants instead of water... Can you guess what we might be trying?
Today we wrote a finished script for a news round report.
