Do you often ask your children what they do in school each day??? Well this blog will give pupils the chance to write about what they have been doing in Year 3 with Mr Jones. Dear Mr.Jones class I am from Mrs.Altics class. Today in art we finished our ocean scene with clay. I made 2 rainbow fish. I also made a clay bowling alley. I did not get to take the bowling alley home.
Gess what I did today I made the begening of my all about a Hermit crab I put what it look`s like what culer its body is and I put what culer its shell is and I put what I am writing about.
this week we have been looking at man made and natural materials. yesterday we watched a play about recycling.the play was with the gregery brothers tidy ted and samy swan.
Today we leant about non permeable or permeable and we put rocks in the water. and theres are some of the rocks basalt slata murble granite chalk sandone.
Today we were testing rocks to see if they were permeable or non permeable. there are 3 types of rocks sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous the sedimentary rock were permeable and the other 2 were non permeable. the rocks we were testing were - sandstone (sedimentary and permeable) - chalk (sedimentary and permeable) - granite (igneous and non permeable) - marble (metamorphic and non permeable) - slate (metamorphic and non permeable) - basalt (igneous and non permeable)
Hello Mrs.Jones class im from Mrs.Altics class and today i learned alout about the Deforstation group i learned that people cut down trees and use then for roads and stuff people like faremers do it to build houses.
